Is anyone else feeling a twang of disappointment that we don't get to see Phelps vs. Thorpe?

Today was women's volleyball. For most here, I imagine it'd be hard to be disappointed after that.

I don't watch but from what I've read about tennis in the U.K.
Why is it that men streak mens tennis and women streak womens tennis?

On the Olympics site you can go and look at your countries complete history of medals won. The US has over 2000.

Nope, no clue what you're trying to communicate.

WannaBe_80z: US and China have massive representation this year around too.

Still not even one medal for Canada...well, suppose there's still some time.

I think I watched three swimming heats that weren't even finals, and we got sixth every time!

just saw #11 for Phelps. Dude. is. a. machine.

Can't imagine breaking so many records with so many races in such a short amount of time.

on a separate note, i was not excited at all for these olympics, but i don't think i've watched one sport so far that wasn't exciting or fun to watch this entire week.
