[CS3] continuous looping parts of my animation

Hi!

I really need help getting my text mask to loop the movie behind it over and over.

You see, I want the animation to start off with a sound that is played once, then I want the text to have a looping mask over it that plays forever.

I wouldn't mind also learning how to get my background to loop forever also while I do other stuff in the foreground.

does this make sense or do I need to further characterize my problem?

to make something loop, the easiest way is to give it its own movieclip since they loop automatically forever by default, then place that movieclip in the right position and leave it there to loop for however long you want
