Question on MP3's & Temp file

    Hi,

This may be a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway :-) Is there any way to use a flash music player, which calls an XML file listing the songs, to not allow the user to download them? I know they download automatically to the users Temp internet file on their computer ...

My client wants to play multiple songs on their site (they are a band) but they sell their music so they don't want people to have access to it via the site (don't know if I am explaining clearly?).

I know I could put in a flash file but I think that would be too big ... just curious if there is another way out there approach this.

    Thanks!

the only way to prevent temp file caching of music through Flash is to stream the sound using a dedicated Flash streaming server. Your client would need to host their music and possibly the web site on a hosting company that has a streaming server.

An alternative is to offer excerpts, not full downloads.
