Flash CS3 Crashing when importing .wav files

Has anyone had this problem?

I am using flash cs3 and when I am importing a .wav sound file into the library it crashes.

This never has happened before, I've restarted my computer. I tried to open the music file in a new flash file with nothing in it and still it froze and was not responding.

The music clip is only 34 sec in length, and is not very large in file size.

I have similar problems. No matter what I try to import, either to the stage or library, it crashes...
