    photoshop's expand fill?

    In flash there is a feature under modify>>shape>>expand fill that allows you to increase (expand) the border of an object a certain amount of pixels. Does photoshop have a similar tool?

    make your selection (ctrl click the layer you want) then go to select -> expand (choose your pixel amount). Then grab any paint tool and go to town or edit->stroke the selection path.
