    Can anyone offer any ideas - flv just wont load in...

    I have a Flash movie which uses the flash video component in Flash CS3

    It references an external .flv file

    I have completed this project and uploaded to my test server and it works fine

    I have now put it live on the clients server and the video wont load properly

    I get a green animated diagonal stripe along the player controls. The flv file is online and is the correct size so looks like that has uploaded properly

    I am looking for things to try to try and troubleshoot what is going on

    Thanks

    Is it a Linux server? i.e. case sensitive?

    Not to sound redundant...but did you check the video path if you have one?

    is the server configured with the right mime types for .FLV files? ie does it know that what it's trying to look at?

    Hello
    1) Maybe the flv file is damaged. Try re-encode it with flash media encoder

    2) About the green rectangle use:

    // my media is the component instance name

    myMedia.drawFocus="";
