    Problem with Video Controller

    Hi,

I posted this in the "Online Video" section but I have a feeling it may be the wrong forum.

I'm using the Muzak Video Controller component in Flash MX to control a video that I have within a scene. Everything appears to be working fine, except when I drag the slider bar to fast forward or rewind the video - if I get right to the start or end of the video the SWF jumps scenes to those either side of the one containing the video.

I've tried many things, adding stop code to frames at the end of the scene doesn't do anything. Does anyone have any ideas?!

    Thanks.

Just to let you know I solved this thanks to Muzak who created the component.

For anyone with a similar problem - put the video and controller into it's own movieclip and then put this MC within your scene. This way you don't get the problem of it going haywire when you move the slider. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem. Cheers!
