Today, Burger Buddies are back, under a brand new name: Burger King Burger Shots. They're sold in six-packs only, packaged in flat cardboard flip-top boxes. Apparently, this item is still in development - with my area of Southern New England as part of a test market - because they're called "Burger Shots" on the signage, "mini BURGERS" on the packaging, and they are missing entirely from the official BK website.

Best thing to ever happen. I think so.

Strange thing is that from everything I just read today, supposedly these are only being test marketed up in New England right now, but I'm getting flooded with their "overprotective father" burgershots commercial on the local radio stations down here in Florida everyday.
I haven't stopped into a BK to see if they're available, but it looks like I'm going to have to now.
Would be a huge waste of ad money if they aren't even selling them here.

While I agree with you on In N Out (obviously), your ignorance to the importance of physical location in the BK/Castle argument is the true problem here. Just as Dunkin Donuts is a staple of the New England diet, White Castle is a staple of the fast food diet of the NYC Metro area as well as several other areas. The 'quality' as you refer to sucks in both places as they are both probably serving meat that barely qualifies as safe for human consumption. Fact it, neither one is winning any nutrition contests, but the taste comparison is going to be a moot one as, like I said, this is a locale-based preference.

Physical location has nothing to do with overal quality. would you rather eat a piece of crap in a 5 star resturant, or a filet migon in a cardboard box in an alley?

Regardless of location the quality is key.

In-N-Out is hands down the best burger out there. I have to agree with silver on the Whopper though. That is a good burger...especially when you can get them to cook you up one for breakfast.

It's all about quality control with them. They have one main plant somewhere in the middle of Cali that provides their veggies, buns, potatoes, meat, etc. They drive fresh ingredients to each and every store every day. The furthest east they will go based on that is Arizona or Nevada.

They actually have 1 Utah location right now and 2 more in the planning stages. I should have an In-N-Out right down the street in the next year or 2. They have a second plant in Vegas now that can service a wider area.

When I lived in Ohio there were White Castle's all over the place. They were never very crowded and it was very rare that I talked to someone who actually liked them. I always wondered how they managed to stay in business.
