Here is the follow up...how to pass the sound object into a soundChannel and manipulate it with a muteButton using the soundTransform class in a function.

Easy to follow and to the point. Also, you have kept it light and given it a personal touch. I appreciate these qualities. They make the tutorial digestible and engaging.
Are you thinking of adding screen captures?

Yeah, probably should add some captures. I have been exploring google sites and thought I'd move the tutorials there instead of a Blog. Of course, a Koolmoves site is what I really should have! But I don't have my web server space anymore and I'll be changing ISP's soon. This will have to do for now. Plus they search well in Google.

How would you ideally want to set up a KoolMoves site to best give access to your tutorials? And in what ways would that be better than having them on a blog? Does your blog let you post youtube tutorials?

Well there are somethings I like about the google sites for something like this over a koolmoves site. Mostly the ability to scale the page according to content. I like a website over a blog because there is more flexibility in the layout. I can post youTube videos which would be nice as long as they can be presented well. I was thinking about experimenting with that. Here is the link to the website version on Google sites:

    https://sites.google.com/site/eyegorsplace/

I transferred a couple of tutorials there to see how they look. I've got my head into enough different things that my blog is turning into a mish-mash of content...

One thing I like about written content over video is the ability to follow at your own pace...video is good for demonstration I think....what is your opinion? Anyone else?

Perhaps it is too early to choose, I bet your google site design is still evolving. But so far I prefer the blog's look and feel...its subtle shades, clearer type, eye-friendly reduced column width and navigation unobtrusively on the right. On the other hand, I can see how the blog structure might get cumbersome over time, especially with your numerous interests.
Looking forward to your KoolMoves site if and when it comes.
Here is a site I admire for structure, design and content:

It offers quite a bit in an inviting and easy manor.
