I need a few pieces of vector art for an upcoming game by Saturday, January 17th, 2009. The theme will be a bee going to a flower while avoiding the growing weeds. The abstract game is
http://www.gbgames.com/games/walls if you want an idea of how the game will play.
Art I need:
- small bee
- weeds
- flower
- dirt background (642x482)
It will be an overhead view.
The flower will rotate in place to make it obvious that the player needs to move the bee to it.
One problem I have is that while the original game used scaling rectangles as obstacles, I don't want to have an image of a weed getting larger. I want the impression that there are weeds growing. I was thinking about having a small image of a weed that slowly gets revealed, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to do in Flash. Does anyone have any ideas how I could make it read like the weeds are growing in the garden?
I would like a cartoony, emotive feeling, although during gameplay I expect the bee to be quite small so I am not sure how much detail can be provided.
If there are any other details you need about this project, please ask.
