The image looks pixelated on my monitor as well.

What were the specs on the source image originally used?

it looks kinda blurry and grainy. perhaps u need to color correction the original photos then optimize them at at higher resolution for web.

    Thanks Y.
See, many responses after taking the "lazy ass" factor out of the equation!

Im going to agree with Juju on this.
Im assuming that you're obviously resizing that image and not having a look at HOW you're optimizing so that you compensate for the loss of detail in your images.

Generally when you resize an image its better to scale it down to you desired file size then take a "sharpen" filter to it. Once sharpened it will look slightly blocky, but if you then go back and give it a slight 0.2 Gaussian blur, it should look fine.
Also you should really save "for the web and devices" - Use the 4-up panel to generate previews of how scaling down the image will affect it and use your optimization settings in the right hand panel to.

Unfortunately when you scale down a HUGE image to eeeety beety proportions you WILL get pixel blurs on your edges, and in the unsolid colour areas (Ie where the sky has some cloud: so that it goes from white > blue. Or along the edge of a tree into the sky in the background).
Mess around with your optimize settings, you'll figure it out. Sometimes it's best to crop an image down so that you have what you want the focus of your image to be and THEN scale that remaining area down.

    Good luck.
Hope he / she isn't full of **** all the way through this project.

Hi is the swf doing an fs command and fitting to screen or is it displayed at a set size?

Its not the best quality image I've seen, can you not just replace it

It looks like you somehow scaled the image up or down in Flash. Always scale images in PS, NOT Flash.

EDIT: Nvm, I see you fixed it! Only looked at the posted image.
