[CS3] Parent / Child Nav problems...

Hey guys,

I have a two-level navigation to do, but i cant seem to get it working on two levels. Ive seen some solutions on several sites, but cant seem to get anything working!!!

I tried opening this file in CS3 but it said unexpected file format. I hope you have not edited this files in CS4. If yes, then please save it as CS3 format and re-upload!

Ill give you a quick run down of what im tryin to do! The main timeline has a brief introduction (the navigation appearing). Each button that appears is a movie clip. Inside each movie clip is a piece of code telling it to play either forward or backward depending on whether Mouse on or off... This animates a fade on the text and/or a drop down bar...

Unfortunately - I want to add the same piece of code a layer deeper, so i can also animate the text on the drop down bars. however - this doesnt seem to get triggered!

How do u want the text/movie clip buttons on drop down bars to animate....

Id like the animations just to fade from white to green for the top lay of nav - and id like the bottom lay of nav to fade from half opacity to full opacity...
