7 events seems a little too much for one month. can we cut down to 5?, or extend to 2 months?

I like the events Silver lined out.

On: 6- Magazine Cover/Movie Poster (Should there be a theme like Action Movie or Horror?)

As for the voting system. Would it be set up as: I go in and vote on the one image I like best. Everyone does this and we get one point per vote for our image in each event? After all events are complete, the player with the most points wins?

for the voting i was thinking doing ten or less sytem, depending on how many people join in.

first place gets 10, then the next person 9 and so on.

the only problem is we could get 2-3 images that get all the votes resulting in a bunch of people tied. if we could get a way to vote for your 1st 2nd and 3rd favorite images. that might diverse the votes a bit.

There was some discussion earlier about setting it up so that you don't have to do EVERY event in case someone gets busy, can't complete each contest, etc.

I agree that 7 is a bit aggressive, but I think it depends on how much time/effort you want to put into it. I'm looking forward to it and don't think that timeline is too much, but I suppose it depends on what everyone else thinks...

Make the poll be open to voting for multiple images (like what we have done in past MM years). Then instruct everyone to vote for 3 images. You can even monitor how many images a person votes for to keep it honest.

Sorry guys, I'm officially out. February has been a ***** and March isn't going to be any better. I'm bummed cuz I wanted to participate, but I have no time to do any of the events any justice. Maybe next year.
