is it possible to take input from user and use it as an animation

is it possible to take user input and use this input in animation?

i want user to enter his/her name as an input and display this input in my animation.

or

is it possible that i will do a text animation and i want user to enter his / her name as change this input text with my ready made animation.

and

is it possible that for the 1st time when user is going 2 run this swf it asks for the user input name then this name will display in my animation as saves it permanent .. when it should not ask this input for the next time / every time ..
