Hope this fits with the rules, first time doing a battle.

So, my qestion is if anyone is up for a chimera (blending two/three animals together) using an Image manipulation program such as Photoshop or Gimp.

To get the idea, here is a Worth1000 chimera challenge:

The aim of this challenge is Photorealism.

So - is anyone up for it?

Also, are we using set stocks, or is it free range for images?

Here are the informations on the contest:
You may use any source pictures, however you are not allowed to use any images that are copyrighted. I recomend getting them of here:

http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

Please keep a list of your sources, so we can check what you are using. You may not use any picture that has been blended before.


Time
You will have a whole week to make the picture. Starting date is to be determined (I'll discuss that with you guys).


Theme
I ant you two guys to make a list of 10 animals, and I will run it through a flash program that ppics a random one. That animal will have to be used in the entry. The other animals you blend can be anything that you like, however there is a limit to three animals. You can use more than one diffrent picture of the same animal for it though.

Can the background be anything, or does it have to come from one of the images?

Background can be anything.

You may add other things into the image (people, trees, etc), you are just not alowed to blend more than 3 animals. And post your list of 10 animals please.

tomorrow works for me...i'm excited about it already...took me a little work to find all the animal images at wiki, but I think I'm all set now!!

Tomorrow works for me too. (I believe that is Wednesday the 4th for flash and I, but I'm not sure what the time difference is between us and you bot.)

I had dug up a bunch of animal pics, but pulled some from National Geographic. So those are out I guess. Anyway, I had a look at the wiki and it should work fine.

A FOX

You may use no more than 2 other animals [not counting the fox] in your image. however, you can use any amount of images of those images.

This means it makes no diffrence if say im making a Fox-leopard how many leopard pictures/fox pictures I use.



So - lets get started!
