    Sorry to hear that groupof1...condolences...

Nice blending! The fox face fits in there well...it's a bit dark on my monitor at work, but these monitors SUCK! I'll take a longer look when I get home...

My condolence to you & your family,groupOf1.

If you want, and flashpipe1 agrees, we can extend the deadline. And is it possible for you to attach teh image on flashkit, imageshack is blocked.

It might just be where you are viewing the image from, cause I don't think anyone else has trouble seeing my images and they are all hosted on imageshack.

Thanks for the condolences, my G-ma hasn't been well for a while. We knew this was coming, though it's still sad.

^It's because the conputers I use (public) have a blocker installed.
Thats why I can't get to imagshack.

Anyway, do you want an extended deadline?

You don't have to extend the deadline. Let's just play as scheduled.

As for the images, I don't know. Can you see flickr or any other pic hosts?

flashpipe, next time if you gave the head a bit of some blue tones here and there, it would give it more of a realistic look.

Excellent tip silver! I wasn't sure how to avoid the pasted on look with the head other than adding some shading and blending near the edges...since today is the deadline...I went ahead and made the color updates...
Let me know if there are any other suggestions...

    Very nicely done pseudobot...

The head is a little disproportionate, but the blending and coloring is beautiful...

Maybe blending the stripe up the neck a bit more would help, and I can see a bit more red in the fur right around the neck, but it's very difficult to tell where the actual images were "put together."

Did you take some of the hair from the squirrel's head and add it to the fox? Looking at the original pics and the composite I can tell that the fur on the fox's head is different (and the white is gone of course). And, it looks like you used the squirrel's ears and just turned them a bit?

One other thing you could do is to add a few whiskers back in...

Did you use the rubber stamp primarily??

    Nicely done!!

Well, sadly in the end I didn't get as much ime for it as I wanted to.
Oh, and before I start answering questiones, it's a chipmunc, not a squirrel.

Yeah, although I added some hair from the body with 60% transperacy to give it more texture (the hair on the chipmunc was a bit too smooth for my taste). And yeah, I did cut the chipmunc's ears out and then blended them in place (with rotation).
One other thing you could do is to add a few whiskers back in...
I felt like doing so, however, since time went out, I removed them.

Rubber stamp? Do you mean the clone stamp? (I don't have Photoshop, I used Gimp). What I did was this: Cut out the rough selection of the cjipmunc face/neck. Then I made it the top layer. Using the clone stamp, I drew some fur on a "blend" layer. For the transition between the head and the neck I applied some fur to another blend layer, played a bit with the satration till it looks about right, and gave it a layer mask. In teh layer mask, I used a White Airbrush tool (set to very large) to give it transperancey on the sides of it.

Thank you for the complements flashpipe! For anyone interested, here's the wip [it's an animation, so you have to wait a little for it to change]:

Hi guys. I'll be back this week. Anyway...

Flashpipe, I like the winter look with the jafocock. I do agree with silver on the Blue highlighting for the fox head.

pseudobot, where is the third animal? The whole point of this was to blend 3 animals. That being said, I do like where you were going with the image. You could have used some of the hair from the chipmunk on the fox to give it a blended feel.

Are we going to go around again?

^Uh...I thought I made it clear that there is a limit of three animals. That means you can do no more than 3, but you can still do two.

Second, I did blend the hair from the chipmunck on teh fox. What picture are you looking at? Hopefully not teh animation, but the attachment at post number 36...

    **VERY confused**
