    [Pics] Post your project!

In this thread, you can post pictures of your game that you are currently developing, aswell as ask for comments on the game/pictures. Please use the following layout:
    Name of game
    Short explanation of the game

    [Pictures]
    [Optional: Explanations for the pictures]

    -------------

    So, I'll get starter:

    Tanks! [working title]
Tanks is an Artillery game similar to Scorched Earth, or the more well known worms series. There will be over over 50 different types of weapons, such as missiles, grenades, clusterbombs, flamethrowers, turrets, mines, etc. As a twist to the Artillery game genre, you can get out of the tank and do things such as use turrets, build walls for defense, hijack tanks/vehicles, get into other types of vehicles, etc. Includes destructible terrain.

This shows an exploded Armageddonbomb, which on it's highest point releases 20 mininukes.

I love these threads. Here's mine:

    Plant Pong
In Plant Pong you have to fling beads of water into floating anti-gravity planters to help a robot grow flowers.

It's nearly done, but will still probably take another month or so to finish since it's my side project right now.

    White Noize
Boring snowboard game. Will prolly never finish it.

    Don't CHicken Out
Very basic whack-a-mole type game. Written in playbasic in fact. I did this to see if i could produce graphics quickly for a game that was already written. Took about 5 days all up. Should have only taken a day or two.

    Waldo Under water[Working title]
Again trying to work with a programmer dude. I thinks he's got some issues at his real job atm. Kinna on hold a little.

    Scuba dude animation

    Basketball Jones [Working title]
Some concept stuff for a basketball game

What's the problem? Half of two dice is one die. I only see one on the screen...

Nice work guys. All look great.

BlinkOk: You better finish all of those project or there will be a few angry guys here on the boards who you just teased with those screenies.

pseudobot: I've been working on a game similar to yours for sometime now. Yours is looking great. Does your terrain collapse like Scorched Earth?

ImprisonedPride: Congrats on being cig free.

Good call hool, that kind of is my current project.

In all honest IP is finally coding Flash again, albeit a few minutes a day. I've been working on some lengthy beyond-my-ability stuff again, and I'll just have to wait for the game to come together... (assuming I finally finish a game...) before post screenies. I will say right now that as far as mechanics are concerned, I'm priding myself in the fact that I got over 3k images imported into the engine and it's only just cresting 500kb.

Yeah I'm the same as you IP, I sort of drifted into full time web development over the past few years and been trying to free up a bit of time to pump out these games that I never manage to release and recode every new version action script. Oh well hopefully AS3 is the charm.

Talking about yourself in third person there? The lack of cigs must be getting to you

But seriously, the graphical quality in this thread is just wow. Just as I was finally getting content over my own graphics, it gets blown away by this over the top quality. Great work guys.

    Dawn of the Hulker

Top-down strategy in space. Going for an epic storyline and even more epic memory consumption. Working title could've been Homeworld 2D.

The quality of work has gone up a lot on here in recent days.

I'm working on a simple point+click horror game with rpg dice elements. Inspired by all those old Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks. It'll be short, completely finishable in under 30 minutes if you figure out the puzzles quickly enough (though they are rather tricky)

Here's an image (it's actually my better half zombied-up, on her request!!):

If you want to see more visit the blog link below. I'll be updating it with artwork on a daily basis. Hopefully this one will be short enough I'll actually get it finished.

Most of the stuff I'm working on right now is much too ugly to be shown to the general public just yet. I will show this though:

It's currently titled Rain and sort of pushes the boundaries of what you might call a game. Sort of an experiment with causality and user input, but I'll save the rambling for when I actually finish it

All looking pretty cool! Awesome work to everyone.

I've started a new one, but only got ugly graphics by now so here's my latest one which is about to get finished:

    Paralyze Attack
A shooter with a twist: you can stop time and manipulate elements around you as you wish.

Btw, I've already tried pseudobot's and its not only graphically awesome... it's completely awesome! :P

Phobik, is the background nebula thing generated or a static image(s)?
