Viewing a website font on a computer without the font

I want to use the Gotham font for a website. Not every computer has this, so I imagine a default font is used (Arial, Verdana, etc.). Is there a way to install the font when a viewer clicks on the website? Can this be done without them knowing it?

No and no.

Option 1 just create a bitmap image of the words

Option 2 Get flash, SWiSH Max2 etc and use it as an embedded font in your swf.
