FLV File

I have a small doubt and below is the case describing it.

I have 2 FLV files one is 5 MB and one is 25MB. Both of the FLV files are 5 minutes in length.

When i load the flv's into a web based flash player like JW player, will the FLV with 5 MB loads quicker and both will take same time to load as their length is 5 minutes.

I will enable the Buffering and HTTP Streaming for both the flv files.

I am not able to test the above scenario online as i do not have any server access till now. But if any one of you people have done this research your comments is greatly appreciated.

Just want to ensure that the flv file is size based and not time based so that i can further compress the flv file to load quickly over the web.

I am not reall know much about the question you mentioned. But I use another flv player. you can try. it can play online and offline flv video. you can get it from my signature. Hope it helps.

I just want to know if a FLV file loaded into any FLV player is size based or time based.

Can you do the benchmark test for me if possible.

I still do not have any server access to test...
