    Synchronized Mice

Hey people, its been a while

I recently discovered this program called Synergy. It allows you to use one mouse on several different computers (sort of like when you go dual screen, except way easier).

It's really cool, if you haven't heard of it check it out, it's totally free and open source.

I want to do something similar but different. I want to have one mouse and keyboard input that is doing the same thing on all of the different computers. So if I move my mouse to the right and click, it would do the same on all of the different computers. Has anyone else used this kind of thing for quality testing? The nice thing about the thing Synergy does is that it run on Unix, PC, and Mac so you can work on all at once.

not spam, synergy is actually pretty awesome, and it's been out there for a while. Great if you have a few computers in the room and you don't want to move your hands.

Wow can't believe I missed it back then. I was planning on buying some hardware to solve this issue but this sounds pretty cool.
So how does it work? Does the comp the mouse is wired to send events over tcp/ip? Wouldn't that be prone to response issues?
