AS3 Simple Trivia Game Programming only ASAP
I need a simple multiple choice trivia game that has a video intro and a video pay off and some sound board type buttons. .
All design, art, sound and video will be done by me. I'd like to have someone create the framework with temp elements and I'll replace them etc. I'm a programmer so I can make some modifications, but I don't know enough about AS3 to do it fast enough.
Game outline:
Document size 880 x 500
Start Game
- Preloader
1) Instruction page. Text field and Start Button
2) Start button plays .FLV. Once video finishes go to image of closed door. (use temp image)
3) 3 images of door keys appear (use temp images). select one to open door.
4) Wrong selection, reveal "Try again" with sound cue.
5) Correct selection, Sound cue... Reveal...
6) A Multiple choice question with 3 answer options. (random question from a list of 20 questions)
7) Wrong Answer, Reveal "Try Again" with sound cue. (use temp text and sound cue)
8) Correct answer, Sound cue.. Jump too..
9) Go to image with 5 clickable areas. 4 areas play a sound. One area activates a sound and jumps to..
10) Image of a door.. (temp image)
11) Repeat steps 3 to 10 as many times as needed.
Win Game
12) Click an area that reveals the final door with one key.
13) Click key, jump to video clip
14) Play again? button.
I'm assuming this should only take a few hours.
I will pay for this work.

anyone else hear that?
Love like you've never been hurt, live like there's no tomorrow and dance like nobody's watching.

Probably too late but if you do not NEED to use AS for some other reason, why not try Opus Creator - designed to do that kind of thing easily without programming.
