I think this links on my homepage are ambiguous
I have notice while viewing my logs that visitors to my site have a tendency to stop at the homepage. Originally I thought I might have an error on my page, so I tried it on other computers but no luck. It works...
I have been submitting resumes recently and I am beginning to think my site just sucks.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks J.

Well, the first thing you need to work on is your color palette. It is not pleasing to look at at all. Read up on color schemes, check out Adobe Kuler for some ideas. Having a s**ty color scheme can turn a lot of users away from your site.

re
I knew color blindness would get me some day.
I am red-green deficient. (really)
Oh well... I guess that is why I tend to stick to blue, but I took a bunch of photos of surfing and the beach and thought I would try to utilize them.
No problem, easy enough to fix.
BTW, the BG image on the home-page is different every time (random), so the colors may have sucked based on the image that was picked.
Thanks for the input.

Ah, well that would explain it. Having a good color scheme is very important in having a site that is eye-friendly. I actually didn't notice the background changing. Just make sure all the bg images works with the colors in the rest of the page.
And I hate to say this, but read the signature rules-- your sig is far too big.
