    Simply preloader problems

    Hi

    I tried to create this preloader and test it but it seems not to work. I saw this tutorial, i tried to do it but unfortunately it doesn't work for me.
    Can someone help me throught this one.
    I want to do it the easiest way possible. just :
    a loading bar ( white line )
    a background bar ( a blu background bigger line )
    a AS ( which i am not able )

    i sent the file in attachments please look at the AS inside the symbol, an tell me where i'm wrong

    Your file won't open. ZIP it and then upload it again.

    Maybe 'cos the first was a CS4...
    Sorry Flashkit doesn't recognize my *rar file.

    Anyway thanks for the reply.

    Dude, there are quite a few problems with this file... more than I have time to fix. First, you need to give instance names to most of your movie clips so that you can access them from actionscript. Second, you need to learn about scope and nested movie clips. It's also considered bad practice to put coding inside a nested movieclip.

    If you want to do a preloader, try this tutorial instead:

    I don't know much about the site, but I just came across it and it was very simple and straight forward.
