    Hacking my keyboard

    So I have that Creative Prodikey keyboard and it comes with this cool little software that plays loops or sound effects when a key is pressed. But they only allow the use of their preloaded genres like "funk" etc. I figured I could go through the program files and swap out the loops with my own but come to find out they are all .dat files(I think there was another but not at home atm) has anyone heard of sounds files that are .dat or know of a freeware program that does the same thing?

    Um..... flash has this odd little thing called "On (Key Press)"

    You could create a little script like
    Code:
    on (keyPress("<Space>")) {
        playSound("");
    }
    Here is this really cool place where you can pick up wav files for loops and Sound FX
