1. ## Daily math dose thread

I thought why not start random math problem solution thread, that might work nicely with google search and, who knows, actually help someone. I am not limiting this to myself, feel free to post your stuff, but please do not post disscussion/off-topic. So, the thread rule is: one working math-related code per post

Here goes mine, to start things going: intersection of ellipse and line, ellipse tangent line

2. well why not bring some physics in... so here goes simple constant gravity cannon

4. Continuous Collision Detection with Elastic Response

With circle to circle and circle to line segment

5. hey, it's nice to see my back covered

any way, recent discussion (or rather people ignoring major point of discussion) on haXe list has prompted me to make this Irwin-Hall distribution (sum of uniformly distributed random variables) plot

6. we all knew I wouldnt actually post one thing per day, didnt we. and this time I even will not post my code IMO 1959 Problem 04: Construct a right-angled triangle whose hypotenuse c is given if it is known that the median from the right angle equals the geometric mean of the remaining two sides of the triangle (c) 2009 Laurens Rodriguez Oscanoa

Fibonacci sequence

8. Damped harmonic oscillator (doubt that this code will actually ever help anyone... except me, I wouldn't do it for no purpose;)

9. It's incredible! After all this time my thread is still on page 1 of "Math and Physics"

Double pendulum simulation

10. bezier intersections by Zevan Rosser

11. yeah, definitely a slow forum, but there's still a need so I think we'll keep it up a while longer. Maybe you would like to mod this forum?
Great thread though and thanks for starting it!

12. Thanks, but I'm affraid there's nothing to moderate here... except your offtopic post.... cough...
