I've been drinking a local beer called Surly. It's pretty damn good. They have around 5 or 6 different kinds. I've tried Furious and Bender which were both
very good. Of course its a little expensive - 4 16oz beers for $10-12.

If the wallet is thin I usually go with Icehouse.

Way to go Joe. It demonstrates that people should drink responsibly in social settings and when they can't they have the option of not.

I just don't see kids playing with Joe Biden action figures or having posters of Joe Biden in there rooms. I've never heard the ballad of Joe Biden.

Every once in awhile I think of how nice it would be to knock back a cold one. It's usually short lived as the last two times I did I practically had a stroke.

That's the only problem I have with the Double Bock, it's about $10 for 4 - 12oz bottles.
I am currently justifying it to the wife with creative math based on the near double strength alcohol content... so one beer kind of equals two regular beers, so it's really only half as expensive as it looks compared to normal beer... so technically I can drink twice as much with only half the calories for twice the price... oops, uh,... I mean... um, ok, so I'm still working on it.

I love it how Stella is a cheap average beer in europe, and in Aus its an expessive import. Does it taste any different when you pay more for it? quite possibly!
