    resolved [RESOLVED] question

    Hello All,
I am using Flash CS4 with AS3. I am publishing my flash movies as an .exe (not in a web setting). The .exe will be only used on a Windows OS (XP or higher)

I am trying to figure out how to detect whether or not my .exe window is active or not.

When I open it up, I click and do whatever...
Then when I switch to a different program (ex. WORD), I would like the .exe to close via fscommand.

    The question is:
"How do I detect whether my .exe is no longer the active program?"

If you know this is impossible, please let me know.

    Thanks in advance!

    -Jake

Try listening to the stage for Event.DEACTIVATE.
