    Masking Transition

I have been searching for a good tutorial to help with masking. I have found this tutorial http://www.swish-db.com/tutorials/view.php/tid/537 which I have followed the steps but it did not work. This is the transition I would like to accomplish but with images: www.the7thdesign.com/mask.swf
I also wanted to know if I am able to put a gradient as a border to the images to give a faded in image look. I noticed alot of other masking tutorials have dead links or are not as thorugh as this one. If someone can follow this step by step I would like to know if you can get it to work. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I placed the move effects I made the shapes (in my case images) I selected use bottom as mask. Any ideas. 1 image is missing in the tutorial explaining about the grouping and/or stage. Thanks P.S. I have been using SWISHMAX3
