embedding movie files in a presentation?
hi,
I recently done a powerpoint style presentation in flash....
I wanted to improve it over time but when I went to save it I realised that all the movie files (.movs & .wmf) were links.... to created flash movies..
Is there anyway I can embed these in the presentation so I can send it to people as a single file?

You can convert the MOV files to SWF files and import all the SWFs but that will mean serious changes to your code and to the way you organize your workflow, with respect to future changes to the external MOV and SWF files.
Your other alternative is to use a third part swf2exe tool (see list below) to bundle everything into a single EXE file. You might have to make some changes to the paths you use (depending on the tool you choose) but this should be fairly minor surgery.

Two of the applications I listed have Mac support (Zinc and mProjector) but I can't recommend them with a clear conscience. It's not because they are competitors, it's because of their respective track records. I'd highly recommend reading what their own users have to say in their support forums before making a decision either way.
