    Canon 60D

    hasn't been "officially" announced but even Canon has slipped up a few links. They have joined the movable lcd bandwagon.

    Can't wait to see the full spec list.

    The back is totally redesigned

    The xxD series usually comes out around $1500- nice!

    Yikes. From looking around the 60D really has shown the direction Canon is going with their line of EOS bodies.

    The rebel series is the new "nice" point and shoot everyone will be buying (first time buyers)
    The xxD series is the new rebel series or for people who like the bigger body size
    The 7D is what the xxD used to be- the prosumer level
    The 5D is now the professional body for photo/video
    The 1D is still the PRO body of choice on many levels- but unless you need the fps(and AF speed) or the weather sealing the 5D/7D handles everything else very well imo.

    What do you all think?

    No Microadjust either? They took it OUT since the 50D had it- interesting.

    7D/5D still for me...

    They had a wide gap between the feature/price points and Nikon had already filled them in. So now they are playing catchup. The buying route will go like this now.

    Rebel/xxD -> 7D/5D -> 1D

    Used to be 1 long line- Now the bottom market has 2 options.
