Playing a sound file after a drag and drop

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to the list so I hope someone can answer my first query!

Basically, how do you trigger a sound clip to play following a drag and drop operation in Flash 5.0? That is to say you drag an object to a specific location and only when it is dropped on this location, a sound file is played.

Hello,

You can place the sound inside a movie clip.Beginning from the 2nd key frame.The 1st key frame has a "stop" action and you tell that movie clip to gotoandplay its 2nd key frame upon the drop.The command will be inside the movie clip you are dragging or where ever you check the drag and drop.
