    Change Color of ComboBox?

    Hello, here's my project:

    http://distance.uaf.edu/projects/fla...ord-parts.html

How can I change the background and border colors for my comboboxes?

    thanks!

You doubleclick on the combobox, then you see different mouse states. Then you click on the first state and you change color of the box.

    still not working...

Hmmm, I tried that and nothing happened. I just double clicked the instance, it shows several states. Then I clicked on the first state and went to style > tint in the properties and changed it to a dark red...but it still looked the same when I tested the movie?

You need to doubleclick on the first state->doubleclick on the MovieClip and click on the shape to change the color.

Ah, thanks...I see how that works now. But, it changes the color of ALL the instances on the stage. Is there a way to change each instance individually?

I did name them all something different..

I have not forgotten you. I have made a Blog notice for changing styles of component instances, because the question comes so often:
