Mac OS and Windows Flash player are different!
Are there known differences between Mac OS and Windows Flash players ?
I have a game where things behave differently on Mac OS and Windows. The game is based on physics simulation.
The problem appears on what we call an auto-level, a level where the layer is not supposed to do anything.
You can play the level here : http://www.bonuslevel.org/games/game...tml#lvlid_9698
If you have a Mac could you confirm that the level doesn't work (broken after 48 seconds). The youtube demo of what should happen on a Windows OS : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-W__3Wuct4
[edit] I suspect it is a matter of 0.9999999999999 in a platform instead of 1.0 in another platform.

When you know are.
I'm on a Mac and it gets stuck on the ground in the left corner after a while. I have Flash Debug Player version 10,0,32,18.

Thanks, same thing for me on my MacBook. That confirms there is a difference between MacOS and Win Flash players, which is VERY sad news...

Script kiddie
10,0,32,18 Mac (Safari): At 33 seconds, hedgehog just stays put in the corner, with it playing some noise repeatedly. Timer stops.
10,0,32,18 Windows (Safari): Works fine. Although I think at 33 secs, it was in a very different place (I think it had actually travelled less far than in the Mac version; you might want to confirm that, because it means there was a collision discrepancy _before_ we got stuck in the corner).

bibuti.
There's an issue with the latest Safari build on a Mac and the Flash plugin. You can set Safari to run in 32-bit mode instead of 64-bit mode and that MIGHT fix the issue.
Does the issue exist in other browsers on your Mac?
Also, targeting Flash Player 10 instead of 9 in the Publish settings might fix the issue. I ran across a lot of inconsistencies when releasing my latest game:

i'm obsessed with video games.
