    Question ....Define Flash Mobile

    I have been browsing the forums and just wondering...what exactly is the difference between actionscript 3 and flash mobile?

    I heard something about you not being able to make your own function?...ew

    Contemporary versions of Flash Lite on Nokia phones support Actionscript 2, with some extra commands that allow some integration with phones called fscommand2. There is also the ability for Flash Lite to play sound and video using the device media player instead of built in Flash software decoder.

    However, Adobe is now promoting Flash 10.1 for mobile use and it is not yet clear what this will be for mobile beyond supporting AS3.
