    converting multiple layers to mc

    I need to covert multple layers with multiple frames in one scene into a movie clip. I then need to dump this movie clip into another scene. I need to do this many, many times. What is the easiest, fastest way?

    What are the multiple layer with multiple frames? Are they separate movies altogether? If so, then just import the external SWF (at runtime) into a local MC. No need to attempt an import. Running externally will keep the file size (load time) small.
