    I downloaded phpmyadmin now what?

    I'm trying to do the whole database thing for my website trying to save some money by doing it myself. I just need to know what to do now. The only thing I've done is download phpmyadmin from the site.

    PHPMyAdmin is just an interface for an existing MySQL database. Your server still needs MySQL and everything. You're probably not running your own servers with root access, so you probably have some control panel given to you by your web host. If so, they probably already have PHPMyAdmin installed for you to use to manage your databases.
