I've got a few examples of my own cartoon creations, and I was wondering if there was room to expand into cartoon cats..?









I'm not an anime artist as such, but I'm capable of character design..

Do you make this stuff up on the fly?

Holy smokes, some of you folks are quite gifted -- and that makes me jealous of course.

Can you make her younger and smaller, like the girl that CNO posted, and 5th also drew?

Sort of a chibi girl -- well maybe almost, but not overly so. With pigtails.

I work off the cuff, not on the fly. I spilled hot coffee on the fly once, so it's kinda sensitive now.

What's with the pigtails ?!?!

I like that schoolgirl sketch by 5th!

I finally decided to go to the store and get a cheap scanner, but they were out of stock of the one I wanted, so I'll have to wait until next week. Until then, you'll have to suffer with Flash animations of my character concepts instead of just sketches, sorry.

Here's a spanky animated figure... Um.. It might be useful, as every part is a symbol, so you can build another character round it, though the movment is a bit odd, there could be a homage to the ministry of silly walks somewhere, couldn't there..?

Man that is very NICE - is it yours - original? If so, then let's get that into Flash and into the gallery! Someone can take that image and do a screen trace over it and get it into Flash. I will volunteer to do it if you don't have a tablet or other such to do it with - let me know...

I don't mind if someone traces over it in flash.

Yeah, looked great. Dunno what's with the pigtails -- they're CNO's idea, but they kinda grow on you.

Hey Naldo, you seem to be able to come up with this stuff at will. You really oughtta go into the webisode business. Saw you on IRC briefly, btw, please come on back!

Regarding the concept sketch provided by CNO for the monster, do you think you could come up with something like that, animated in Flash? Think of the monster swatting at stuff, or breathing fire, stomping thru the city, whatever.
