So I am using one of the buttons from the flash library (that includes many different layers within the button like "oval inner," "oval outer," "text," and other layers) and am trying to add sound to only the HIT portion of the time line. So, I added another layer within the button timeline and labeled it as "sounds" and brought in a sound that only shows during the HIT portions of the time line; however, I am unable to hear the sound when I hit the button (when testing it).

I am able to put sound to a button that I myself create, but with the buttons that are already created I am having a hard time with.

Can anyone help?
