    Poker tournament robbed on Live TV

    So... gshock. Were you in Berlin this weekend?

    Organizers of the European Poker Tour event in Berlin found out this afternoon, as six men armed with machine guns reportedly waltzed into the ballroom of the Grand Hyatt, where card players were competing for large sums of cash. The gunmen apparently made off with one million Euros.

    As for the security? Were there cameras or anything?

    Well, there was a TV crew. Because the tournament was being broadcast on television. Live.

    that looks really weird. It almost seems like it was an inside job. I read some of the comments on the video others seem to think that too.

    Here's what I sent to you:
    If you can, go logout of the http://board.flashkit.com/board then go to the http://www.flashkit.com front page, and then clear your cookies. Then close your browser, restart, then try again. Sounds like your cookies are screwed up a bit somehow.
    If that doesn't help... you have one more thing to do.

    If you're running Windows, which I think you are... after doing the above, after you clear your cookies, Start > Run > CMD (hit enter) > (at the command prompt) ipconfig /flushdns (hit enter) and then reopen your browser and try it.

    I was actually in Berlin this weekend... this was the first thing I saw on tv at the airport.

    Seems like a lot of effort to split 1m 6 ways.

    So about the robbery... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MX-4SL9lYvc here is a video. The security guard actually is able to take down one of the robbers in the tournament but another guy comes to his rescue.

    Yeah it does seem like a lot of work to split 1m 6 ways. sign of the times i guess. i did know a few people that actually were in the room when it happened
