    pencil tool question

    I am trying to use my pencil tool and I can not see what I am trying to draw until I finish and unclick the mouse. So essentially I am drawing in a sort of "ghost mode" and can not see what is there until it is finished. Anyone tell me what I am missing here please?

    What version of Flash are you using?

    flash cs4. i just wanted to let everyone know that after an hour of combing through posts on the adobe site i found my problem. something weird with the new flash running on windows 7. sounds crazy but i changed my desktop theme to the classic and voila! my pencil tool works. i guess others have had this issue too.
