simple 3d logo with 360 interaction on click?

hello everybody

just looking for best way to go...any advice appreciated

I wanna make a simple 3d text logo which is by default rotating (probably gonna make it in swift 3d)

when mouse pressed, logo should stop, and I wanna have option to have 360 degrees interaction with mouse movement

when mouse released, logo should return to his previous rotating animation

looking for some ideas

Look towards the direction of 360 product photography. You can find a few options out on the internet that should be able to help. www.gardengnomesoftware.com, flashden has a few.

I would suggest making the logo into an image sequence. If you want a couple examples try these interactive object movies

If you are going for an image sequence approach here is a 360 Viewer (AS2/3).

Or you could use a 3D engine like Papervision.
