    Stop-frame animation advice

Anyone know of a good program to use for a big stop-frame animation? I've put an example below of what I'm working on but my animated GIF is already over a meg and it's about a tenth of the way through.

I was going to ask in the animation section but it was scary and unfamiliar!

I use quicktime pro for my frame compiling. I am sure there is better options out there but that has always worked for what I was making.

    What are you using?

Oh OK. I think I purchased that a while back, hopefully I still have it!

At the minute I'm using my iPhone to take the pictures (this is out of my window at work and I don't want to draw loads of attention to myself) so the quality is pretty rubbish, but it's just for fun. I'll see how this ends up then I'll try a proper one elsewhere with my D70

    Cheers

Out of interest do you have any examples of stuff you've done?

You could use after effects - just import the series straight to frames.

Where do you work? That looks a bit like battersea?

imageready can do it as well if you have the suite already.
