But I don't think working in teams is really fair. I know that last time I had my whole thing about using external libraries and what not, but teams increase productivity by more than any library could...

The voting process for topics will start on Friday, May 7th. I'll generate around 100 different topics and you can pick your favorites. The most popular two items will be the topics of the event which will take place Friday, May 14th at 6:00PM EST when the voting phase ends. Oh and will there be some sort of timer? I find the whole syncing with other timezones always quite a bother. A post with you stating the time would work too, as I could read off the Flashkit timestamp what my local time would be.

Pretty pumped for this, seeing as I've busied myself with freelance work. I'm excited to be back on FK and start doing games again...feels like home...

The timezone thing isn't too bad for me. Though it would be way easier to do all times by -4 GMT, as that's FK time.

I really think there should be a timer on the site rather than requiring everyone figuring out the time on their own.

I'm currently looking into reading user GMT adjustments via PHP so that everyone's timer will read correctly. Every page of the event once it has started has a timer.

As we approach the starting gates, please remember that you'll only ever need to visit the main event page to take part in the competition. You'll need to register on that page before you will have the tools available to submit an entry, however.
