It is upon us. I am WAY out of gaming these days so I have no idea what to expect.

The new 360 looks tempting to get this fall when all the holiday sales come around.

New rock band. controllers. The guitar has ztar type buttons one for every note on the fretboard and six strings. They blew it as it can't be used as a midi controller.

Kid Icarus for 3DS might be a system seller. Pretty cool how nintendo flooded the audience with chicks holding the system.

With the new xbox model coming out I'm pretty tempted to pick up one of the old ones before they sell out. All this talk of game fly really has me interested in getting back into some console gaming. Saw an Arcade version at gamestop yesterday for $150 brand new. I thought they were $199? Makes me REALLY tempted.

What games announced at E3 have you all drooling? The new COD looks to make up for the last one.

I know that Sony's controller setup is pretty much the Wii controller with PS buttons on it. But they do have a point that there has to be some sort of controller in hand to have more control. How would you play certain games with ONLY movement like the Kinect is trying to do? They will probably release some sort of controller...

The Sony Move does not have my attention. Neither does Kinetic. Not yet...

With that said, Bodycount has my attention. I need games that help me release stress.

Yeah where's the next gen version of that series? They waiting to get the Kinect to get their bugs worked out so the movement tracking is good for the groping?

Just watched the Portal 2 demo. Looks awesome and way more complex then the first.

as a wii owner for the last 3+ years let me be the first to say meh to motion control. at this point i have gotten it all out of my system. the only time it felt good was during sports games(madden, tigerwoods, wii sports) and first person shooters(prime trilogy)

i have really no desire to play 3rd person sword fighting games, or action adventure games(zelda) with motion controls.

i agree. my wii is upstairs in the bedroom and is used only for Netflix now. I don't think i've played a game on it in 9 months.

EVERY person I know who has a Wii gets one and is SUPER excited and tries to tell me how awesome it is and then a couples weeks later after they're bored of Wii Sports it collects dust.

Drunken bowling...that's about it. Fun when it happens, but doesn't happen all that often. (the bowling part)

oh i played mine religiously for the 2 years i had it, but the games that i wanted just were not coming to the wii, so i moved to the 360. certain games are great and good fun, but as a whole motion gaming is not the future, the only thing i really am digging out of the ps3 360 motion is the 360s voice control, and ability to use motion to move through the dashboard as well as if i have 4 people come over to play some games i dont need to buy 4 wiimotes, 4 nunchucks(replace wiimotes/nunchucks with the sony equivilent.

$150 and your ready to go for everyone thats going to be playing with you, thats not too bad, still more then im willing to spend though.
