Google Me
Rumours are abound about Google me. It seems like it is in the works. Even facebook is starting to get worried.
It leaked out because Google has been talking with farmville I think about having the company hook up with Google for the games portion of the site.
Hmm I wonder if this would be linked with google wave, google apps, etc etc.
merge it all into one perhaps?
any word on this if this is real or not?

They are probably thinking about it. I noticed the other day that if you do a search using Facebook and scroll down a little bit, you get Bing search results.
Facebook is good, but it has its problems. Everything can be better (with exceptions).

Google needs to tread very carefully with this one. Buzz was a flop and very presumptuous. Wave is truly revolutionary, but landlocked. There's a massive hurdle prior to just making a great social click magnet. The exodus effect has only been seen one time and that was only because of MySpace's beta-deck status. If google doesn't create a current for users to wash up on googleme's shore line with, it won't really matter what they do.

A lot of people really don't want their lives under one password. Your youtube history and gmail conversations really shouldn't exist in the same space. As long as they make everything opt in rather than opt out.
