I have created a fairly simple game in Flash8.
Most of the code has been written inside the character mc, and I use _root. to reference interactions with other mc's like coins, walls, etc.
I have published it as html and swf.
When I tried uploading this to my website I only see the background but no other mc's.
I read somewhere that _root is not the most ideal reference to use?
How do I publish my file so that it can be uploaded to and played on my website?
I'm using dreamweaver to design my site and uploading with filezilla.
