Objects that don't scroll with the others?

Hi, I have a quick question. I tried a bunch of searches, but I couldn't find the right keywords to find the answer to this.

Anyway, I use VCam for a scrolling platformer I have, but I want an object that stays in a specific spot relative to the window through out the level. I can't explain it too well, so here's a picture of what I mean (My game doesn't actually look like this):



No matter how much the stickman moves and scrolls through the level, the brown box with the Lives: 3 in it should always remain at the top of the screen.

Is there a way to keep that box in that same position and have it completely unaffected by VCam?
