modify a flash website for which there is no fla file available

Hello
I have a website that I have to modify. It is entirely built with flash. The problem is that I do not have the fla files. So I have two options: either using a special program which converts the swf into a fla file or build the website with the changes from scratch.

What do you recomend?

Niether option is very attractive... but having been through it a couple of times myself, I'd say re-built it from scratch.
If you decompile, you may spend many hours seaching for things that you never find, and trying to exactly match what the old site did.
Starting from scratch, you'll know how its put together and can make improvements to the original site.
