    Load swf to library

Can i load an external swf to the library?

I do not want to load the swf to a movieclip that is on the stage.

I would like to load a bunch of swf files to the library and later on bring them to the stage.

    any ideas?

I was also wondering the same thing for images. Thanks!

    hi brick,
how did your job interview go?
concerning your post: in AS3 no problem, since you can use SWCs and and also have a display list to put objects on or take them off. in AS2, i'm not so sure. i think you can use SWCs as well (but i haven't used AS2 for quite some time now). maybe these two links will help:

    hope that helps...

I just got one more concern, the first link is good enough for me but the person doesn't touch on how to preload it. it seems to be "auto". but what if its a linkage to a website?

Also, now I think that it all preloads on the first frame. But, I don't want that. I want to preload it on the 2nd frame when I say so! After I preload the audio. how would I do this? If it preloads on the first frame its gonna mess up my preloader.
