    good way to start

    last batch I shot in 2010 and the first batch I edited in 2011. I have been borrowing a friends 100mm macro. Love how sharp this thing is! I'd love to have a play with the new L series.

    Like them all - great depth of colour. Would love to get hold of the L series 100mm.

    Lovely mix here.

    I've used the 100L macro a fair bit, as well as my regular 100. Although the L is obviously nicer I don't think its in any way justifiably better than the regular. For me I wouldn't use the IS and the sharpness differences, whilst there, is negligible, esps after post processing.
